Space City is home to hundreds of attractions, and I am here to tell you about a few of them. I’m going to hand pick them from the top of the list, and I think you’re going to like them. You might not stop by all three because there are others to explore, too. There are over two million people that live in H-Town, and you’re going to have an eventful time just making your way around the city.
The first attraction I wanted to tell you about is Cockrell Butterfly Center, and its address is 1 Hermann Circle Drive. While you’re in that area, you’re really close to the Museum of Natural Science, too. That would be a great way to check out two of the major attractions in Space City in one swoop. There is a 50 foot waterfall at the Cockrell Butterfly Center, and you’re also going to find thousands of butterflies. You’re basically going to be making your way around a simulated rainforest.
If it’s time to do some shopping on vacation, the place to be in Houston is The Galleria. The Galleria is located at 5085 Westheimer Road, and more than 26 million shoppers make their way there every year. You’re talking about the 4th largest mall in the US, so you’re going to find quite a few shops there. The mall is a total of 2.4 million square feet, and there are even two high-rise hotels on site.
The National Museum of Funeral History might not be everyone’s cup of tea. It’s one of the top-ranked attractions, but yikes, it’s kind of eery. It’s the largest museum of funeral artifacts in the country, and the location is 415 Barren Springs Drive. People say that the exhibits are really interesting and informative. There is a lot of history there. Does a stop by The National Museum of Funeral History sound like a plan to you?
H-Town is waiting, and you might even want to make your way to Galveston Bay, too. That’s just a little tip if you’re going to be in the area. It depends on how much time you have, but there is certainly plenty in Houston to keep you busy, too. A stop by Galveston could be another future vacation if you want to come back for more at a later date. Get ready to have a great time exploring Houston and all the city has to offer.
